  Audience Feedback Analysis - Music Video    To assess audience feedback, the producers took a small sample of friends and relatives and allowed them to view the video. Their input was evaluated for its importance by noting if there were multiple similar opinions. Final edit reflects those comments.

Today, we are reporting on a student-produced music video that focuses on an important and controversial  social issue : relationship violence. This music video uses media language and technology to turn song lyrics into a meaningful visual story.     Voiceover   The music video follows a clear  narrative , starting with a breakup between a girl and a guy and slowly building tension. To create this story,  different types  of technology were used throughout the production process.     To record the video, the creator used basic  camera hardware , such as a phone or digital camera. Script: Interviewer:   How did your production skills develop throughout this music video project?     Sophia B: Throughout this project, my production skills improved a lot because I  wasn’t  just filming anymore — I was thinking about how to tell a story. Since the music video focuses on relationship violence and unhealthy behavior, I had to be more intentional with how everything looked and felt. At the beginning, I  mainly focused  on getting the shots done, but by the end, I was using  media language  to communicate meaning.     As I planned out the video using the lyrics, I learned more about  narrative structure . Each scene connects to a part of the song, like the breakup, the guy spiraling, and the final realization. This helped me understand how a music video can tell a clear story even without dialogue.   ...
